In Vinyasa, ‘Vi’ translates to "in a
special way" and ‘Nyasa’ to "to place". With intent to move, it
makes one feel like their breath is moving their whole body. In this
practise transitioning into different poses makes one move more intuitively in an
expanded range of motion. The transitions refer to ‘the flow’ in which you move
from one pose to the next, commonly known as the Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
The pace and the poses may vary as there is no
rigid pattern of poses to follow. Thus no two sessions can be the same and that
allows more freedom to the instructors to develop their own routine.
Through Vinyasa, one can increase balance,
